And you who seek to know Me, know that the seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without.

Blogger Reflection Award

Turtleheart over at Turtleheart Cove has nominated me for a Blogger Reflection Award. Thank you so much Turtleheart. I really appreciate this honor. I gather that the point now is to pick some blogs that make me think and reflect as well.

I am inspired by many individuals and many ways of thought. It was hard to only pick 5. I love each of these people for different reasons but especially for their very strong sense of self and the honesty with which they portray that.

Terri, Billy, Hecate, Sojourner, Athana

I think that you reflect very well hon. I'm hopeful that by the time you reach my age that you will be able to do things to help change and improve the world. It's damn sure going to need it by then.

I won't be here then, and can only flow and work through you and others like you. And I want to wish you all the luck in the world with that.

It is not easy work and will really test you at times and you will often want to give up, and times when you want to blow up the whole frigging world and start over again, like a goddess that is pissed with all the idiot monkeys, but some inner force won't let you.

Like one of my coffee cups say. THERE WERE A HELL OF A LOT OF THINGS THEY DIDN'T TELL ME WHEN I SIGNED ON WITH THIS OUTFIT. Hugs.

Billy, just for that comment you're going to have to come back over and over again for the next couple of thousand years.
Thanks for the award, Lee!
I have no idea how I'm going to pick five bloggers-especially as you've snaffled four of them!
Love,
Terri in Joburg

Thanks Billy. That really means a lot to me. And I want that coffee cup. LOL

Terri, I think you can pick some of the same ones if you want. If there are rules about that I don't know about them and quite frankly I say screw them. :) I'm a rebel.

I love you both!

Hey !!! I'm a frigging rebel too!!!

It's my frigging parade, now get back in line or go squat on the curb and piss in the gutter you little monkeys. LOL

Love, peace, light. Hugs.

Okay, I just paid closer attention to the post. I never look to be nominated for anything, I am the light, and it reflects, but thanks, hugs.

A quote on your page just caught my eye.

"Art! Who comprehends her? With whom can one consult concerning this Great Goddess?"

Got me hon. Ask me about Goddess and I can answer, as I know her better than anyone. But art, it's all about personal tastes I think.

Art to me is looking at the Olympic Mountains from my yard. Things like that. I have a little art on my walls here, but it's all nature stuff. The stuff of Goddess. Okay, there is a little art on my computer that is bare chested, but it's natures (Goddesses) best work and finest work. :-)

Well, there is that water color of the line of dancing gals with a drunk hanging on the end of the line. And the words, "THIS IS A HIGH CLASS PLACE, ACT RESPECTABLE!"

:-) :-) :-)

Oh, and a big red heart on my bulletin board that says "Happy Valentines Day".

Billy, I totally get what you mean about being nominated for something. It's just one of those blogger chain-games. A nice little nod among friends. :)

As for the quote: to me this means that art is something an artist (like myself) "answers" to. I use the quotes there to denote a lack of better terms. It's something that owns me in a way, but it's also something I worship. It also helps me continue to create myself - to figure out who I am as best I can. To me art and Goddess are very connected - creation, creativity, birthing something, etc.

As always I love when you visit. I'll be around more this week. The weekends are always busy for me in the summer.

Much love!

I was an artist today, painted on a home for homeless teens. With luck we will finish it tomorrow.

With all that I know must be in your head. How can you go six days without a new post?

Good question Billy. Well, a lot of what I want to say seems inappropriate. This past week I've been a little blue. I should probably get on and blog about it, but I still battle with being some what of a private person. I guess I still worry about being judged a little which is why my blogging will probably suffer until I get over it. I'll try to post tonight. And I will try to make sure it's an honest one. Oh, and I'll visit your place too. :) Thanks for checking on me.

Hon, the best advice I can give you is to put all that is in your head out there. And allow your blog to take many different paths. That is what I do. Hugs.
